These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our Site and purchases from Shaver Lake Wood Works LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or ordering, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• “Product(s)”: handcrafted swings, arches, benches, chairs, accessories listed on the Site.

• “Deposit”: 50% of total purchase price, due to secure build slot.

• “Balance”: Remaining 50% due upon completion or installation.

2. Order & Payment

• Orders confirmed upon receipt of Deposit.

• Balance payable via credit card, Venmo, or cash on delivery.

• We reserve the right to cancel orders and refund deposits if we cannot fulfill.

3. Delivery & Installation

• Local delivery zone: up to 25 miles from Shaver Lake, CA; flat fee applies.

• Installation included in product price; customer must provide reasonable site access.

• Estimated build time: 2–6 weeks from deposit, pending demand.

4. Warranty, Disclaimers & Liability

• Limited Warranty: We warrant that Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of installation (workmanship) and for the life of the hardware (stainless steel fittings). This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by unauthorized modifications.

• Disclaimer of Warranties: Except for the express limited warranties above, ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

• Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAVER LAKE WOOD WORKS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR REVENUE ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

5. Cancellations & Changes Cancellations & Changes**

• Before build start: full refund of Deposit minus $50 administrative fee.

• After build start: Deposit non-refundable; balance due on installation.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes shall be resolved in Fresno County small-claims court.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; changes posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

• Local Delivery: Flat fee applies for addresses within 25-mile radius of Shaver Lake, CA. Orders outside this zone require custom quote.

• Timing: Delivery and installation scheduled 4–6 weeks after deposit.

• Site Requirements: Customer must ensure clear access and safe working conditions; additional fees apply for difficult sites.

Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy

• Custom Products: All swings are made-to-order; returns are not accepted.

• Deposits: 50% deposit refundable (minus $50) if canceled before build start.

• Balance Payments: Due upon installation; no refunds after product is delivered or installed.
